12 Hour Race

Do you like supporting good causes?

Than look no further. My name is Tim Cermak and I am the cofounder of Climb for Type One Diabetes. My brother and I both have type one diabetes and we created our charity to raise awareness of type one diabetes and show that type one diabetes doesn’t slow us down. One of our goals with Climb for Type One Diabetes is to raise funds to support research to find a cure for type one diabetes.

On October 6th I will be running a 12 hour endurance race at the Subaru Wagner Outdoor festival in Dayton Ohio. Yes, you read that right, a 12 hour race and I want you to match my mileage! I am asking you to donate by committing to donate a certain amount of money per mile I run in the 12 hours. My goal is to run 45 miles during the 12 hours. So all you have to do is lean back and support this awesome cause, I promise I’ll do the running for you.

Mission Statement:

Climb for Type 1 Diabetes has three main goals: to educate and bring about awareness for type 1 diabetes, to raise money for type 1 diabetes research, and to inspire fellow diabetics along with anyone who can benefit from our message of hope. Every single dollar raised by Climb for Type 1 Diabetes is used to support our three pillars and the worldwide effort for a cure.
